There is no doubt about it: this ismost certaintly a Chestefield sofa. Deep seat, dark brown leather with a patina and, most importantly, buttons deeply embedded in the back, seat and arms. Nothing is missing. Or almost, because Lopigna is devoid of one essential aspect: curves!
Perfect upholstery thanks to firmly sewn buttons
This vintage sofa manages to combine the charm of the famous English model with the finesse that it usually lacks. Here, the silhouette is slender, the upholstery is more discreet. The seat is nonetheless inviting and comfortable.
The finish of the sofa is impeccable
Like the Chesterfield, the armrests and backrest of the Lopigna are at the same height. However, they are narrower and lighter, just like the sofa's high, slender legs.
For this product, we use authentic full grain leather, handcrafted without any machine intervention. Originally from Argentina or Brazil, the leather has been selected among the top 5% of the world's quality producer. The "aniline" colouring is obtained in the traditional way of bathing in natural colours, without the use of artificial pigments. This finish allows the skin to patina over time, but also to retain the authentic qualities of the leather: a soft and pleasant touch that prevents perspiration when warm. Each piece requires 5 to 7 days of work before being placed by hand on the solid wood structure.
